A simple guide for wedding gowns
A-Line: An A-Line dress has a fitted bodice through the waist and then flows out to the ground, resembling the outline of an uppercase ‘A’. The A line dress is ideal for all body types.
Ball Gown: The ball gown, often known, as the ‘fairy tale’ dress is a wedding gown with a fitted bodice that flairs at the waist with a full skirt. The ball gown is ideal for most body types, as it hides the lower part of the body.
Mermaid: Mermaid wedding gowns are fitted on the body from the chest to the knee. The dress then flares out. The mermaid gown is ideal for slender frames and hourglass body figures, willing to show off their curves. This dress is not ideal for apple and plus size body types.
Trumpet: The Trumpet wedding gown is fitted through the body and flairs out at mid-thigh. The trumpet dress is idea for women with small waists such as the hourglass, banana and petite figure. The trumpet dress is not ideal for pear and apple figures as it accentuates the stomach and hip area.
Sheath: Sheath wedding gowns are a narrow shape that flows down from the neckline to the hem. These dresses are ideal for lean frames such as petites and bananas.
